Do you increasingly find yourself on the receiving end of requests for late cancellations and no shows due to your clients’ busy schedules? Or their kids’ parties and other commitments? It’s really hard to manage that. On one hand, we want to be understanding. We know how it feels to be busy. On the other hand we don’t want to find ourselves with gaps in our schedule or our income stream. We also want to keep our clients on track with their treatment. If you’re getting new clients through word of mouth and your practice has a consistent number of bookings each week, then that’s great!
If, however, you have lots of people one week and only one or two the next — or you just aren’t very busy at all — then you probably need to focus on what I call ‘growth’ activities.
When you are speaking to a potential client on the phone, take your time. It is an opportunity for them to decide whether they want to work with you. It’s important to be honest and open about what they can expect from homeopathy and from working with you.
Everyone I’ve worked with through mentoring and on the Radiant Business courses has initially expressed disbelief or resistance to reducing their practice days. BUT, once they try it they tell me they wish they had done it before!
When did you last take time to review your practice. If there were no obstacles to your success, what is your highest ambition for yourself as a homeopath? (Be bold, don’t play small). Set yourself a goal. What is the first step you can take towards it? Do that.

Your About Me page is the first one that people click when they come to your website. It’s your one and only chance to get their attention before they go elsewhere. First and foremost, show your personality. Who are you? What are you about? Be unique and original. Be interesting.
